can you see the difference between the first and second journal page?
a lot of times after i have taken a photo of my work i can see areas that may need something.
i added more hearts in the lower left hand corner to balance it a bit more, and added some red in the crease of the heart. as i look at it some more i see that maybe it needs a few blue circles on the left side of the heart, or not.

I'll always be with you."

Mar, I love these colors you are using now.....they make me happy and want to smile.....Do I sense a lighter heart maybe?
Beautiful spread....
Love you,

This jumped right out at me. Oh so happy page! xox Corrine
This makes me smile. I love how you add things! Yes, your extra hearts add a nice little something to the bottom. Is Valentines Day one of your favorite days of the year, Mary? Sending you hearts, kath
Joyful, happy colors! There is so much fun for the eye to enjoy! I have often myself, wondered when is it done? I have found that stepping away for a few minutes or hours...it become very apparent what the piece needs :)
That was fun, seeing if I could see the subtle changes before reading the rest of your post :-) I'm with you, need to take that second look, distanced by a photo to see what needs to happen next. Frankly sometimes it's more my talent having to improve enough, so I'll take things out I did a year ago and presto make some changes that help! Fantastic page by the way, this would be beautiful on canvas extra big :-)
Hi Mary - its ages since I visited but what a treat awaited me when I popped by! Fabulous pages - the colours truly speak - they really 'pop'! x
what an amazing eye you have, Mary!
It's a gorgeous gift you've been given,
you ARE:)
thanks for sharing the beauty,
Jennifer
Love that A. A. Milne quote!!! Love your journal page too Mary. I think I would recognize your art without seeing your name because of your unique style and awesome bright colors!! I do the same thing with viewing my art through the camera which gives me a different view perspective to see if I need to change anything or not. It really works!
Hugs to you!
