cover of my composition notebook journal. I am loving splats and messiness these days.
I also wanted to ask you my blogging friends to say a prayer.
My husband Greg has DISH, diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis. It causes flowing calcification along the side of the spine. It can also cause bone spurs to form, which has happened on the front of Greg’s spinal vertebrae of the neck. Swallowing has become a bit difficult, so Greg is having surgery this Wednesday, March 9th to remove the bone spurs. He is expected to be in the hospital for several days, with a 2-3 week recovery time.
we are asking for prayer that the surgery goes well
without any complications (especially with swallowing)
that it will relieve the issues he is dealing with
that pain will be minimal
for complete recovery
for peace and calmness on Wednesday morning
for all the things we have not even thought to ask.
Thanks friends!

Prayers sent to you and yours Mary.
Sending hugs and prayers your way.
Continued prayers for a crazy-unexpected healing happening
in the most wild and wonderful ways for your hubby
and household. For financial wow-ness that you didn't see
coming...just amazing increase in every way your heart could
possibly dream. And then, a little bit more. Overflow:)
Spilling over goodness:)
Love to you and your beautiful, creative way,
Jennifer
I haven't looked at your blog for ages so I'm doing a quick look and see. I didn't know about your husband's surgery, so I'm saying prayers now. I believe prayers are timeless.
When someone comments there are some I can reply to by email. If I am given that option I do. There are more comments that say, "no reply blogger" I'm not sure if it is because they do not have an email listed...and if I reply here to comments I wonder if they are seen. Once someone leaves a comment do they come back to see if I replied? So, just in case you came back, I wanted to say thank you for the prayers and well wishes. Greg came through the surgery very well and it helped greatly.
