"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

added bonus

I love the little space that was created in the middle room when we moved the chairs from that room upstairs and the couch downstairs (see previous post). I actually think it's my new favorite space.

Here are a few pictures of the porch all ready for a dinner party we had last Saturday.

Everything finished and waiting for guests!

I love how cheerful everything is, including the lovely hostess :) Your porch is a perfect spot for entertaining . . . perfection.

Oh Mary! Beautiful! Your smile, though, is even more bright and gorgeous than your colorful, beautiful home! Hope your dinner party was fun.

Dear Mary... I "met" you 2 days ago on your blog, and I am sure we are kindred spirits as well as being sisters in Christ. You read the books I read. You have collections and arrangements in your house that look like mine! I live in Pakistan at the moment where my husband and I run a rest house for missionaries and other Christian workers. I have been journaling more visually for 3 years now and your bio sums up my thoughts and feelings about that exactly! This is more an epistle than a comment. Sorry, but i just couldn't resist. With love, Georgina
