"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

wanting more

a few new journal pages. i have not worked in my journal since November.
i sat down and thought i had forgotten it all, but as i began to add paint it
got a little easier.

well for some bizarre reason i cannot get the above photo to load horizontally, i even changed the size of it. any ideas? and i just realized my tears/raindrops are upside down, oh well...

...she began to listen to God by listening to her heart, to her life. she had crossed the threshold everyone is called to when called to obedience - the threshold where God says, "Please listen, because I want to reveal myself to you. i hold the answers. and if i never reveal the answers to you, i will reveal myself to you.
(Listening to Love)

do i want answers?

yes!

but i want God more.

grace and peace

I don't know how to tell you to load the page correctly, but on it's side I am reminded of wild geese flying in formation and am listening to the flapping their wings make in the air. At the same time I watch rain out the window.xox Corrine

Can't solve your directional problems, but I love the journal spread! I don't think you forgot a thing, great detail, design elements and of course colours.
He is my answer :-)

Maybe your teardrops are upside down because they ascend as prayers even as they fall?!

I, too, want more and more of God. I'll be with Him for eternity, so being picky about all the tiny details here doesn't make a lot of sense. [Doesn't mean I manage to avoid that "mis"behavior as often as I should.]

Mar, if you have these in Iphoto, you can push the edit button and there is a rotate button there...hope this helps....

I love these pages..I love the hearts, and the newsprint, I love the color of the raindrops falling on the city....lots to interpret here.....I'd love to hear what you are seeing in these pages....You know me, I have a need to look under the work to see what's going on.....

You're too good to ever forget how to do your art.....don't go there....

Love ya girlfriend,
Nanie

Me too Mary. I want God more! Even if I found the answers I was looking for, my human self would then need another question answered...and on and on. I'm so glad that we can have real contentment in our spirit from spending time with our Heavenly Father and that in searching for the answers we find God instead.

I've been rather on the down side of things lately. Needing this boot off so I can go outside and take my nature-God walks and get some serotonin from the sun/son. God and I talk inside too, but he doesn't have to talk when I'm outside because I see HIM everywhere! I need to listen a little better here inside the house, I think!

Hugs to you Mary!
