"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

something a little different for me

since visual journaling is such a big part of my life i decided to take one of my pages i liked and do it on a small canvas.

i am very pleased with the finished piece.

this one measures 14 x 14.  i am thinking about doing more of these and listing them on my etsy site.

i also think this would make a pretty card.

here is the original journal page

I love it (love all of yours!)
and especially love that 14 x 14 size,
like a perfect chunky bite.
Oh how I think they'd sell!
Love your stretching, Mary.

Love it ! And why shouldn't what we create in our journals be re-used, especially when they are this good.
Brilliant !
Happy Sunday, Lovely Mary !

This is really nice, Mary. It's a good example of using a journal page as a sketch leading to a more important work. Good job!

LOVE IT! I've thought about trying to put one of my watercolor paintings onto canvas before but just haven't tried it. This worked out beautifully for you Mary. It's a winner for your etsy shop. So did you use Modge Podge or what to put it on the canvas?

Hugs to you my friend,
♥Lee Ann
