"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

ah... the joys of duck/duct tape

My calendar was boring!!

Solid Red, not enough...well you know...

I have this cool duck tape. Yes, it's Duck brand duct tape.

I call it duck tape, and always thought I was saying it wrong....

until I looked on the inside of the tape.  Now I can say duck tape

without feeling silly. (now I feel silly I did not know something you all

probably have known for years)  lol

The little covered Moleskine's contain scripture from "Made to Crave"

that I want to keep close by.

Hope you all are having a good day. I am adding to to the painting that I started in Church last night at our Ash Wednesday service.  Yes, I painted in front right next to the band...I asked if they were sure they wanted me next to the instruments with paint...I was careful...even when i dripped paint.

Hey Nanc, I'll post it when it is finished. I just did the first layer there, will be adding some each week and take it back each Sunday to display during Lent.

That is the coolest duck tape I've ever seen and what a way to dress up a plain notebook.
Very cool doing some 'performance art' in church, looking forward to seeing what you're creating

it in many colors and even camo,
but never seen this.
It's just ducky!!!
Thanks for the tip

How awesome..painting next to the band during worship...oh I wished they taped it and you could share. My son bought one of the paintings a man did during worship.
Oh the duct tape...too, too funny! You are like my daughter and her notebooks...they almost all have duct tape. Now she did want to make her prom dress in duct tape....since she is my only girl I had to put my foot down.
How creative you both are!

How exciting that you painted in church! We had a lady paint in our church and I always thought it was so neat. Love your journals and that is some cool duck tape!
