We have snow here in Dallas, too. It's just wonderful since it is so rare. Usually just once or twice a year. I haven't been visiting in a while -- life keeps me so busy, I don't get many moments to myself. Still think of you and Gut Art and I keep my painting from you on a shelf where I, and others, can see it. :) Happy New Year friend!!
It looks so beautiful....and believe it or not we had about 5" of snow here in Southern California! There's still some snow on the foothills around here. It's rare for us to get snow so it was fun.
Absolutely magical!! So excited so many received a good coating of the wet stuff!
No snow here, but a coating of ice, which from a distance, creates the look of a nice frosty winterland! The cracking, breaking and falling of limbs changes the quiet of the frosty landscape, but, hey, beggers can't be choosers - it is Sooooouth Georgia :)
Here too! It's still coming down in droves! Your beautiful home is even more charming when surrounded with all of this light fluffy winterness:) Enjoy and stay toasty, Jennifer
I wanta go play; they looked like they were having so much fun...and I bet you were right in the middle...did they make snow cream?....these pictures are awesome....your house is so beautiful sitting in the middle of all that snow.........
It's snowing here now but we don't have any accumulation yet.....wonder if we'll get as much as you have.......this winter weather is something else.....
These are beautiful shots, just love the lighting. I can see you've been having a great time with your family around you, there's nothing better :-) Lov your place, your home the barns, and all that winter white!
Hi Mary! I think we are suppose to get some snow tonight and the kids were praying for it! You would think 2 weeks off of school would have been enough for them?! Happy New Year!
Sweetums, thanks for the great pictures, especially the ones of Brian and Megan! Our daughter even dresses well when she goes out to play in the snow! I love the hat. This is incredible that I am missing a second Atlanta snow event by being in Florida. Interstates had a lot of places still closed this morning, but I should be able to get back by Thursday night - I HOPE. Love you and miss you. Dade
Hey Mar! Yes, decisions sometimes give me a pain in the forehead! The spiral bound book is a great way to do a book but since I do know how to sew a book I feel like it's a cop out. I use a Rubicoil that I bought from here: FYI http://www.bonniesbest.com/rubicoil.htm Anyway, I am off to do the envelopes and unfortunately for some strange reason my hives have returned. And I thought I was doing so good with my organic eating and all. I am pretty bummed---but it may just be something in this life I will have to endure. Have a wonderful day, Mar!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, what a lovely house, I can feel the warmth coming out of it...even in the midst of the snow...It actually has snowed 7" on Mauna Kea, according to the news last evening there is snow in 49 states...and Hawaii is one of them..
Hi Mary !! How are you doing?.. Looks like the white stuff headed your way which is most unlikely to happen where you live correct? We are looking to move out of snow country! Homes are selling so slow or not at all. I love your home and thank you for showing us your photos.. miss you..:-(.. I just cant keep up with all of the blogs, and don't know a quick way of doing it do you? It takes me on half hr. to post to 6 blogs and that is typing fast! ?
Hey sis, we got only an inch or two in the past 2 weeks..nothing like last year. I think God knew Dewey wouldn't be able to shovel the roof off again this year. It was 47 inches then..Brian and Meg look so happy playing in the snow...how did Sean do in it??? Blessings Mar...have a wonderful weekend!!! Love you!!
I love seeing the pictures of your life Mary! That winter wonderland is gorgeous on you! Love the fun I see your son and daughter having together. It's so special isn't it?
Glad to be back among the living and visiting with you again. I have missed Y♥U.
