"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

interview in Sprout

Amanda Fall graciously asked me to be a part of her Sanctuary issue. if you would like to take a peek go here to order your copy.

once you have your copy (for a wee price of only $6.00) settle into a comfy chair, with a cup of coffee or tea and begin.  begin to quiet your heart, and as you read through begin to ask questions.  have you ever thought about what sanctuary means to you, or where your sanctuary is? do you take time to cultivate sanctuary, either in your physical space or in your heart?

sanctuary has been a theme in my life that emerges again and again. i am taking time to explore it's meaning, where i may have been mistaken in my thoughts and ideas and seeking to cultivate its true meaning.

Mary, it's been such an honor and a joy to work with you for this issue of Sprout. Your interview responses were so heartfelt and honest (as I knew they would be). What you said about internal sanctuary especially spoke to me--we can work on the outside feverishly and still never feel quite "right" until we have internal sanctuary. Thank you. <3
