"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

sunshine

another page in my little everything journal.

i love stencils and stamps!

i have tons of stencils and stamps, but right at this moment i am liking the messiness and imperfection of my own hand.

the little journal pages in the last several posts were done with just paint, ink and pen.
even the additions to the previous post's journal page (except the & sign) are all hand done.

i have been looking at Pam Garrison's journal pages quite a bit, and love all the hand doodling she does.  she has inspired me to do more of that.

i am not throwing my stamps and stencils out the window.  i am sure i will use them again, and even purchase more, but for now i am going to enjoy doodling.

It's always fun to try new things and ways of doing things and I'd say you have been very successful at your new attempts....Again, I love these colors....

i love the beauty that flows
from your own hand, too!
i know what you mean about the flow
changing with little seasons
and love how you let it take you
just exactly where your heart
and hand
need to go.
i have always loved the crisp cool lines I cut with scissors but
right now am finding crazy joy
in tearing and ripping
and the imperfect jagged lines
somehow seem juuuuust right.
funny and natural how it dips
and turns with the changes.
doodle on, dearheart:)

I love this. I love all of your stencils too, but I love the handwriting.
