"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

today's progress

entryway wallpapered. furniture cleared out. stuff coming to fit time frame. they are using many of our old pieces. what you see here stays.

we are sitting in the kitchen right now. think we will board the pets tomorrow or saturday and move out. trying to wait till the last minute for the pets - they are not going to like being boarded.

you have some wonderful pieces I can see why they want to use them. As for the wallpaper, well I'm sure it works for the movies :-) Hope the pets do better than you think and you do too.

What an interesting process. So when all is said and done do they put everything back the way it was?

Is it real wallpaper? I'm curious what the take-down process will involve-repainting?

Yes it is real wallpaper. They did not use a lot of glue...said it would come down fine and they would make sure any and all residue was gone.

You seem to be going through a major upheaval around your house. I saw the tiny thumbnail photo of your home earlier in the week but didn't realize it was your house! It's so gorgeous!
I'm thrilled to watch the movie someday and say, "I know her in blogland!"
This is fun to watch. I hope you're not too exhausted.
