"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

it's a go

It is official.

Lifetime is filming the June Carter Cash story here.

Jewel is playing June.

Filming begins sooner than expected. They will begin staging this week, and filming begins next week. This will be the longest shoot we have had here. We will be moving out for this one, but will be back to take a peek.  I'll post more photos as I have them.

yes, here in our home. actually all the paintings will be taken down. they will be adding wallpaper to meg's room, and the hallway...it will come down after. the time period is 1930 to around 60's and 70's i think.
so in the end it will be interesting to see if one actually recognizes it as our home. :)

Wow Mary, how did you get into the movie business? Did they approach you? That is so exciting.

Mary I hadn't opened up a crab in so long either. It brings back memories of going to crab houses in Virginia. My kids didn't know what to do with the crabs.
