"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

when it feels like nothing is happening...

"There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears."

Philippians 1:6  (msg)

We are none of us finished
None done
We are half-baked
Half-built
Half-beautiful
Creator God, continue us
Craft us to completion

God is an artist, shaping lives to be beautiful. If you're partway on the journey, changed perhaps a little but all too aware that you have not changed enough, know this: God has not finished with you yet.

Mar, thank goodness He has not finished with me.....Right now I feel so far from where I would desire to be but I know God is painting a picture with my life and I am to be content until this period is over and a new section is started......

I hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th...Will you all be together?
How is little Jack doing?

Whew!!!
And He is SO into completion!
So we can rest easy
and take Him at His beautiful word
that this thing He has started
He'll work it out
and finish it up
(on time even!).
Oh the peace to just
believe!
Love and freedom ringing from the rafters
to you, friend:)

Yes! We are all still kids under construction! I like the thought that I'm a child that my heavenly Father is still working on. he loves us that much! WoW!! Somehow that makes me realize I don't have to be perfect. God will take care of that job for me himself. YAY!!!

Learning to rest in His shadow as I wait with you Mar!

sometimes it does feel like He's gone...taken off....left.....but then doors open to something amazing and I'm totally glad He's always there....making our lives into something really neat. Hope you have a great week.

I know God will be working on me till the day I die. I'm so thankful He is with each of us and will never forsake us!! I am and have been a work in progress all my life...thru dark tunnels often then an opening where I finally see the light of day, and heard what He's been trying to tell me..I love you sis...

half-baked...like that...still a little too chewy in the middle
I am so glad that even at age 50 I can be assured that God isn't finished with me yet!
