"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

playing

this is something very different for me

i have been feeling that i want to do something a little more edgy, messy in my journal

i am not even sure what i mean when i say that

this is a small Moleskine journal

i want to carry it around with me

i want to be able to scribble

take notes

make lists

just the stuff of life while i am living it

so i am just going to play a bit and see what happens

almost feels like i am starting at the beginning again

Mar, you are moving on girlfriend.......this is totally new and different which spells growth to me....big time....I can't wait to see more.....

I agree with you about carrying a journal around with me to jot down or sketch my daily life......I am struggling to accomplish anything close so let me know how it goes.....

You always encourage me to move out and try new things.......no grass growing under your feet.....

Big hugs and blessings sweet girl....

I think your pages are capturing the essence of life through an art journal, raw, real and not always pretty. It works.

Love it!!! Hi Mary! I was just thinking about you the other day, thinking about when you taught/led that art journaling class with your church group several months ago....You are a mover and a shaker! These pages are edgey and great! Love ya! Hugs, ~kathy

I hear you Mary,I feel like I am in a creative black hole right now. With the kids at home for the summer, time to create is limited.

Reminds me of something I read today about hope being foundational...like the loose style a great deal...exciting and fun to look at. Looking forward to seeing where He leads you in this new journey Mary.

I really like the way this looks, like the "feeling" behind it as well. The stuff of life...
