"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

mistakes

i did not like how this background was going so i took some gesso and a large piece of sequin waste and began to cover it.  i then wrote all over it expecting to continue adding additional layers.  what i wrote made me stop and think...i will probably cover it, but for now i'm gonna sit with it for a bit.

I love when insights come out of no where.......I think they are messages God is trying to reveal if we are open to see.....maybe that mistakes are an important part of learning and form some of the major threads in the tapestry called our journey....

Love the pages, girlfriend....and whatever you decide to do with them is A OK.......

Love ya, Mar

Since we are the creators of our own lives, every day we create who we are, are there really any mistakes? Someone I met in my teacher training brought up this point and I thought it was wonderful. If there are no mistakes, then we can just live out lives and make what we make of them. I like what you wrote very much.... xox Corrine

I love this...my daughter is doing a girls conference, encouraging purity and also for them to know they are beautiful in the eyes of God...this statement really sums up how life usually turns out...it is my daughter's story...well it is all of our stories...love it.

How true sis. If we didn't make mistakes we wouldn't learn from them I think! Our goal is to be more like Jesus each day...perhaps mistakes makes us stop to realize how they change things in our lives. love you sweetie!!
Your use of color is just amazing!!!
(((hugs)))

whether or not you cover it up, the message is shining through.
I am trying to get to the point where I now longer see things I do as "mistakes" but just different steps on the journey that are providing lesseons for me. Staying away from the labels of "right" or "wrong" seems to help me feel less to "blame" for things, and more like the follow of the plan that God has put in front of me.
I love your exploration of these thoughts, Brilliant Star !

What an encouragement that although I can't erase my mistakes, a work of art can still be made. This page truly pops. I love the black writing against the quieter background.

..looking back on each yesterdays will make you realize the various essence of your life today and the coming ones... mistakes and failures may be part of it but from then become more stronger and ever faithful to what we are all aiming for to achieve in this journey. God Bless you and your family!(:

Love this message. In fact I think I'll write it down to remind me to keep going even when I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I learn so much many times about myself through making mistakes. One thing I'm learning is that I give others more grace when they make a mistake than I often do myself. Sometimes the most beautiful changes in our lives come from embracing what we learn from our goof ups! Mary, I just love you for being bravely real and for how you share what you are learning about yourself. I feel like I am in your living room chatting over life with you. Thank you for being "beautiful" you. You make a difference in my life.

Love ya,
Lee Ann
