"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

sometimes waiting is what is needed

I finally got back to this piece.

It had been waiting.

I worked on it a bit now and then but was never happy with the outcome.

It needed a little more waiting...

I was just adding scrapes of paint to it this morning and was very pleased with the results.  When I scraped some black paint over the pink sides and top the colors on the body just popped.

I think the waiting has passed.

Just look what happened
"in the fullness of time"
~love that! Just LOVE it!
I'm inspired as always by the
beauty of your creativity.
And today especially, by the
beauty of your waiting.
And the INCREASE of beauty
when the timing is grace.
Oh huge smooches to you,
Jennifer

As with all of your pieces that I have seen so far, they really pierce the heart and soul. This is a great message, I am working on learning how to "wait" during my creative process. Thank you, Connie
