"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

I have not picked up a paintbrush in weeks!!

I have noticed when I am not painting much, my creativity comes out in other areas.

Like re-arranging furniture and the things that live in them. My husband said something to me that made me laugh because he really "saw" something. We were walking through the center room and ( it's really a large hallway that run through the bottom floor of our old house) I moved an object from one tabletop to another and he said, "Our home is one big canvas isn't it?"  He's right!!  Long before I began painting on canvas I
was "painting" in our home.

I have started to go back to old photos and alter their color. I am liking this so much I think I will keep it up.  These photos are altered in the simple program on my computer.  Just mixing up the contrast and color does a lot. For those of you who journal don't forget to use your own photos in them.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.  The temperatures have dropped and the weather is gorgeous here. My daughter is home for fall break, and my sweet sister Bevie is arriving tomorrow.

Blessings!

Hi Mary! I love what you did with the photographs! I will have to try that. I have such a hard time taking photographs for some reason but I need to try. I love what LK Ludwig does with hers and I want to try some of her techniques. I haven't don't much since I have been fighting the hives which are clear now for about two weeks! I hope you are feeling better now. I love what your husband said. And tell sweet Bevie hello. What a wonderful time you are going to have will all your loved ones around.

Oh have the best of times together with your daughter, family and sister! There is just something about the Fall time that brings in more warmness and welcoming close bond time with those we love. Enjoy!

Love the color you've put to your photos. Great idea to use our own photos in our journal especially when we can change them up a bit.

Hugs,

Hey sugar, Thanks for reminding us about the photos. I have boxes of them and never look at them since digital cameras have taken the place of photo developing. What a great idea. I know you gals will have a blast. I asked Bevie to take me with her!!!!!!!!!! Love ya both, Mollye
