"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

living life

I got home Wednesday evening. I was happy to care for my precious grandson while my son and daughter were in Hawaii.  Their first extended trip away from Sean. He is so precious.  I would get him from his nap and hug him and say, "Mina loves Sean, Mina loves Sean."  He would hug me back and say, "Sean loves Mina, Sean loves Mina."  Just melts my heart!  As I said I was happy to care for him, but I am thankful to be home.  It's a lot of work caring for a little one. He will be two this month. I forgot how active they are, and how much they talk!!!  I have come away with various songs. Did you know that every letter makes a sound and the a says AH!! :)

I woke up yesterday with a migraine, so today I have that migraine hangover that you migraine sufferers know all about. Today I hope to get some paint on my hands. It's been weeks since I have painted anything. Way too long.

May you all have a wonderful weekend. It's cooling off a bit here, mornings and evenings are quite pleasant.  And the sound of the acorns hitting this old tin roof is a welcome sound indeed.

Hi Mary! So glad you got to spend some time with your Grandson. I have 2 boys, 5 and 2 1/2 and YES they are a handful. Both my boys talk non-stop all day!

Hope you fell better soon! Be blessed!

Hi Mary,
I love the photo!! Glad you're back and in 'recovery' from your migraine. I'm sure painting will help - maybe add some wine, too!
Yay for Fall, so nice to be cooling off.

Sean sounds so precious, Mary!♥ Isn't this funny: Last night I had paint all over my fingers and was so happy, and I thought of you! I thought about your bright colors and your black graffiti. It must be brain messages between us! Hope your migraine hangover goes away quickly (ugh) so you can dabble in paints and surprise us with something new to smile about. Love, and hugs, Kath

Mary dear...I have never experienced a migraine but have a friend who has suffered for years with them. He has even had to go to the ER from time to time and has had to take heavy duty pain meds, avoid certain foods, ect. to manage them. Last year he found a natural product called Migravent ( I think that is the name) and he no longer suffers from migraines. I suppose migraines are caused for different reasons but thought I would let you know about this success story. I hate to think of anyone suffering from such pain. I pray that migraine is the last one you ever have!

Hi Mar!!! I know that was a wonderful time with Sean! I love that precious picture of you. Love your hair and your glasses. You're stylin, girl! I am so sorry you have to suffer from migraines. You would think that they could pinpoint a reason for them or some relief from them. Have a wonderful holiday weekend and if you get paint on your hands I can't wait to see the result!
