"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Here is the flyer for the visual journaling workshop.  Becky, a very talented, creative, graphic artist friend designed this.  She used the background of one of my paintings. When I saw the finished version I was blown away.  I love that she used duct tape!!!!  I love everything about it. We did switch the two sentences at the bottom right about the journals.  This version sounds like "try to find a watercolor journal with thicker than normal pages."  It's interesting that by switching them changes the meaning.

Will you join me in prayer for this??  We have had maybe a dozen sign up so far. I know there are women who would like to try this, but feel they are not creative. First of all, I believe everyone is creative. And this is not about making a pretty page, but about getting out what's inside. So please pray specifically for those who feel the nudge to try this but are afraid.

I will be watching my grandson for several days beginning tomorrow. So just in case I do not get to my computer I wanted to let you know Jeniffer Hutchins will be posting my interview with her on Friday.

I wanted to let you know my interview is scheduled for September 27, not August 27th.

Blessings and Hugs!!

This is just fantastic, a real professional look and captures the feel of art journaling.
I have a feeling that as word spreads and women begin to see what can come out of art journaling you will have more and more sign up and keep you going year around!
Have fun with your grand-son, he will keep you busy I'm sure :-)

What a wonderful invitation to join the workshop! You and Becky did a fine job. I know you'll be content with however many people sign up. I'll betcha there will be dozens more who kick themselves for NOT participating. With that in mind perhaps you can offer it again after Christmas when the results of this first series have been shown to friends.
I've added this to my prayer list.

This is so awesome...I remember years ago...back in my late 20's when we were all praying that God would bring the arts back to his body...every art form...because He is the author of art. Now at age 49 to see those prayers being answered across the different art forms is so exciting!!! Wish this was near me!
Blessings and will be praying!!!

Hey Mar! I have been thinking about you and wondering how you have been doing with Meg gone. It gets easier, I promise! Hogwash is this fabulous deliciously smelling handmade soap that I use for washing my hands after painting, cleaning my brushes, getting stains out of clothes---it is wonderful. I heard about it from Buffy. Do you follow her, or vice versa?
Hope you have having a wonderful Sunday. It's been cloudy and rainy here for several days but that helps somewhat with the heat--but still it's hot!
