"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

For Martha

Martha asked to see the front of my home.

Notice the leaning rooster on top??? No one wants to climb that roof to straighten it. So leaning it stays!!! lol

I had a special treat today. I got to have coffee with a wonderful woman I met through blogging. Vicki at "Windows to my Soul". We live in the same town! We met and talked like we have known each other for years.

Vicki, it was a pleasure to finally meet you!!

Off to wash the living room slipcovers and all my glass candle holders for the party!!

I love your house especially the front porch,I laughed about your rooster,in the front of my house one of my lights is broken off and broken it will stay until my husband decides to fix it. But I guess its those little things that make a house a home!

So lovely and inviting. Your house reminds me a lot of my own but your landscaping is so much more beautiful than mine! Oh and your porch is to die for and mine needs some work. I would love to live back again in the country instead of the city. I miss the country. My home is over 100 years old. How about yours?

So awesome that you met one of your blogging buddies for coffee today and that you actually live in the same area.

Mary sweet sister of mine, If someone had asked me to paint a picture of your house based on what you are like, it would have looked just like it does. Just charming and reliable. Dependable, quiet beauty and serenity.
