"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Who's chair is it anyway??

Not much going on in the art room at the moment, and I seem to be stuck in other areas right now as well.

So it is with life at times.

I snapped these pictures the other day. The little chair is meant to be for my precious Grandson. Hopefully I'll get a picture of him in it soon!! But two of my cats love it. Funny, the third one has not given it a try.

The big gray cat is Flirt, and you all know Jack the cat!!

Though it snowed for most of the day, it did not last for long. It is supposed to reach 60 this weekend. As much as I like cooler weather I am looking forward to a little warmth.

Blessings!

We all know, Cats rule!
We long for spring much like our hearts long for the warmth after a long winter of the soul.

Be warmed my friend :-)

Oh my goodness Mary, Flirt looks just like Simon....and you can just look at Jack and know he has trouble on his mind......Love the little chair..aren't cats funny in what they choose to lay in...Simon mostly lays in Daisy's pink beds...so funny.....
I know what you mean about the lack of art work...I've been in the same mode.....
It will be nice to have some warmer weather...
Hugs and Blessings,
Nancy

Hi Mar! I am looking to some warmer weather too and that's an unusual thing to say for someone living down here in FL. I think today will be warmer Oh but come August I will be wishing for these days again!!! Have a great day!

Yes, Simon is a pretty big cat...he too is sturdy and solid.....He just makes me laugh all the time....He looks at me as if I know just what is on his mind....and when Daisy starts pestering him, he looks at me as if to say, Make Her Stop...and I do....
Hugs,
Nancy

Flirt looks a lot like my LuLu! There are times when HB and I have to fight for a spot to sit down because both of our cats take all the good ones.

I love this red chair! And how lucky that you have such sweet cats!

Hope you get unstuck soon Mary, but maybe you're in one of those waiting times too. Oddly enough, even though I don't feel the least creative, as I work on some new technique it comes to life and I'm more surprised than anyone as to what showed up on that page! Maybe it's just time to experiment, see what shows up :-)

I love that red chair! How cute for your grandson.

I've been stuck a lot lately too. Not only in the creative arena but in other things around here. I need to spring clean and clean out some closets so I can get unstuck! They say it frees up the mind so you can fill it with new things! Maybe my creative spirit would revive then.
