"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Re-do

Here is a re-do of an older painting.

I love paints. Nothing is totally set in stone. You can make changes whenever you wish. Although you can sometimes really screw something up by playing too much with it. But then again, you learn in the process so it's okay. I like the older version, but I was really just playing. I love the color and meaning in this one.

Well I can't seem to get the link back to my older page. The post is titled graffiti if you want to take a look.

I love this, Mar!!! The older version might not have the right link so I didn't see the older version but this version is great. I just love paintings of houses and buildings like this. Just love how you paint!

The blue crown is a nice touch, and the colorful houses remind me of crayons. A very happy mood!

Oh Mary you hit a home run with this! I went back and found the original version and was stunned at what you were able to do to infuse more meaning and life into this painting. Putting in the city line in the background. This is Mary at her best. You have hit your groove my girl!

I just knew Jack the Cat was an artist at heart, wonder where he dipped your brushes while you were out :-)

Mary I love how you stay so true to your bright color in your paintings. I think this is part of your unique trademark. I love the houses and would like living in the red one with the biggest window! "Who lives here?", Lee Ann does and hopefully beside the queen Mary!

You and your paintings always make me smile.
