"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Some changes

The above photo is the little sitting area in the kitchen. It faces a fireplace. So far we are using it and it is working nicely.
This center room is too narrow to put something on the side of table, so I filled the wall with color.
This shows the rest of the library - dining room.

It is interesting to see the rooms in a photo. In them I can see the overall look better, and see where I need to add, subtract or change things. In the above photo I can see I need to work on the top of the bookcases, and the wall above it. It also looks a little awkward to me because of the window and door. But this room is really a huge walkway from the front of the house to the back, but because of the size of the house I need to use all the space. Well, nothing in my house stays in the same place for too long. This works for now!! :)

Mary, what a beautiful house you have. So warm and inviting! I gather that fireplace does come in handy these days. I love wood floors too! Dark as you have. Thank you for giving us a peek into your lovely home. Blessings and hugs.

I'd love to see your dining room/library/hallway painted red! That way color would fill the space above the bookcase and windows and tie it all together. A softened red, not fire-engine. I have a red dining room that everyone absolutely loves and which many firends have copied somewhere in their homes. Well, somebody has to be unafraid of color... why not us?

You know what sis??? Each time you rearrange I like it better than before, and what's even better is that you have all the things you use for the change...oh to find a table smaller than that one for my little dining area! I don't like the round table..look out yard sales for I'm gonna find some kewl things...can't wait for you to come cuz I need my very own "roommover" hehehehhe!!!
