"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Hi, little wee me!!! Oh, you were so cute. And from you profile picture--you still are! You need to do a mixed media collage with your wee me.

I know that it has been difficult for you being left handed and doing the calligrafun class. If you decide to try the up coming (God willing!) calligraphy class I will make sure you have the correct tools and then hopefully you can have success. We'll talk when that times comes!

I love the second image the best. Very cool texture!

Isn't modeling paste like the best fun? I love that stuff! It's hard to say which direction looks best....I'd want to see it from a distance, but if I had to choose right now, I think I like the second photo the best. OH! I just looked up at the previous comments and realized I'm in good company! lol

Hi Mary! Thanks for adding me as a friend! :-) This is a great little experimental piece you posted with some luscious texture... I just love it! It's funny how sometimes art looks just as good facing in different directions, but I think that just means the composition is a great success!!

So wonderful that you know where Herndon, VA is. :-) I'm in the process of getting my Etsy site on it's feet. Soon enough the world will be able to see what I'm up to in my studio though. Perhaps I'll post some pics of my jewelry art or studio in the mean time. Thanks for the prompt!

Hope you had a wonderfully artful weekend!
Heidi
