"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

Abba still whispers

Brennan Manning (author of The Ragamuffin Gospel) has a new book titled, "the furious longing of God" What a great title full of meaning. He says, "I am witness to the truth that Abba still whispers"

Come then, my beloved,
my lovely one, come.

For see, winter is past,
the rains are over and gone.

Flowers are appearing on the earth.
The seasons of glad songs has come,

the cooing of the turtledove
is heard in our land.

The fig tree is forming it's first figs
and the blossoming vines give out
their fragrance.

Come then, my beloved,
my lovely one, come.

(Song 2:10-13 NJB)

God is whispering to me, to you, can you hear him?

Mary, e-mail me and tell me close to where you live. I would love to see your home and studio. But I first need to see how far or how close you are. Leave your address so I can Mapquest it.
Love,
Yvette

This is an inspiring post. Thanks for sharing it. I saw your comment on my flickr and that's cool that you live in Woodstock. I don't know Bevie but having fun checking out her artwork and yours too. Hope you two have a wonderful visit.

Hi sis...this was beautiful and has inspired me too. Spring is my favorite season not only because of all the new growth...all the sweet smelling flowers, the birds scurrying around building their nests. New Birth...sigh...AND celebrating the Risen King!!! My heart feel such joy because he gave us life, but it's sad to think about all the pain he suffered to do so...love you sis...see you soon.

Love that scripture Mary. I may be at the Norcross Art Festival. I did it last year but I am on the waiting list now. I have not heard of the artist you mentioned but maybe if I saw her work.
