"Once we clearly acknowledge the soul, we can learn to hear it's cries. - Dallas Willard, Renovation Of The Heart."

It takes courage to pursue our dreams. It takes time and patience to unearth buried treasure. But I believe with all my heart that we must do both.

What Color Is Your Rainbow??

I saw this on Marsha's blog. Thought I would give it a shot. Kind of fun, and kind of accurate.
Although I must say, I was not crazy with the color of my rainbow. I like brighter colors!! :)

Your rainbow is strongly shaded violet and white.

What is says about you: You are a contemplative person. You appreciate beauty and craftsmanship. People depend on you to make them feel secure. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it.

Find the colors of your rainbow at spacefem.com.

Well, we're very close aren't we?! I wonder what one thing you answered differently than me to get the white in there? I'm happy with the color violet. In real life, I like muted tones that soothe. I also like the earth tones, which I guess are more vibrant. Anyway, I thought it was fun.

About ATL... I was supposed to get in Monday evening, but things have been a little on the hectic side this week with one of my students - maybe you saw the prayer request for her. Anyway, I won't be leaving now until Tuesday. Not sure of the time. I'm hoping early morning. There's a workshop @ FBC I'd like to make it to that starts at 3:00. I could potentially do Tuesday lunch, or Wednesday morning. There's workshops in the afternoon starting @ 1:30 I would like to participate in.
Wedensday evening, our missions representative and ministry board member is having a home meeting for those who would like to learn more about the ministry... I'll be sharing @ that. You are welcome to that, it's open to all who want to attend.
After that, my time is taken up with a retreat up at Camp WinShape until Saturday afternoon and then there's church Saturday night, Sunday morning and then Sunday evening is Mission Marketplace. Again, you are invited to Marketplace - a great place to visit.
So let me know. My email is MtnMarmi@aol.com.

The Creative Textures class does look like it has a lot of good ideas packed into it. I look forward to seeing what you create.

My rainbow turned out indigo, and you are right - it is pretty close to being right on target! I love doing those little quizzes. I am thinking about joining the Creative Textures class - I love taking online classes and learning new things. It helps us to keep evolving as artists!

As for the move - we are going to rent a house there until we sell ours. We just pray that it won't take too long with the market the way it is now. We are doing it at a good time with school close to being out, and the elementary school is just a couple of blocks away. The Lord has lead us down this path, and we truly believe that he will help things to fall into place. My husband starts next Monday, and once he is there, he will start looking for places to rent. He has a lot of connections at the University that say they know of several places to check out.

Hi sis, mine doesn't have any white in it, but says (You are a passionate person. You feel strong ties to nature and your mood changes with its cycles. Those around you admire your fresh outlook and vitality. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it.) I'd say that's kinda close wouldn't you?? I need you to stop by my blog My Creative World to pick up a little surprise, and you don't have to do anything but post the picture on your blog!!! love you sweetie!!
