in the midst of all the busyness we are getting a new puppy. we lost our last Basset Hound a few years ago. i did not think we would be getting another...i tell ya it's not a good idea to go look at puppy pictures unless you are really wanting to get one. oh my gosh...what did i agree too...oh she is just too cute. we will pick her up on Thursday morning.
we have a few names picked out. olive and penelope are our top two at the moment. any other ideas for names??

I'm fond of the name Bailey, but Olive would be my second choice. She's precious!
I love the name Olive. How cute!! I've never seen this breed as a puppy and it is so very adorable I want to eat it!
How precious! I used to have a basset long ago named Ellie Mae..ha! Olive is a great choice too.

She's just too cute for words! A little crazy, but I suspect you were ready for this or you wouldn't have done it :-) I think once you get around you're little girl you'll know what her name should be. Looking forward to puppy pictures!

Oh! Oh! Oh! I am in LOVE!!! I had a bassett hound for 13 years, Boris. I loved him so much. Your little baby girl is so precious! I want to cuddle her already, and Olive is my favorite name for a sweet girl. {sigh}
She is so precious! Olive is a good name. How about Coquette. My uncle used to have a dog that name. We just adopted a four year old dog named Talulah. I just call her Talu.

I always thought if I had another little girl I would name her Olivia...Our last Dog past away 4 years ago and we decided we wouln't get another since the kids are grown and gone but last summer at the farmers market someone had a litter of Bassetts. They had bellies dragging the ground and were tripping over their ears...They were so adorable. ...I started to ask the price but turned and walked away. Congrats you will love her whatever you name her!
She's just gorgeous and I can't wait to come visit! What a joy to have little "Penny" cuddled in my arms..ehehhee!!! Olive is kewl too hon...the minute I saw her I thought "Penny" love you sis!!!
